Hi, My name is Sherry I live in Kent Ct that's the western side of CT boarding New York State. I'm a Schaghticoke Indian I like to do a lot of Indian crafts such as making mocassians, Dream catchers, Jewelry and leather work. I'm married 2 years Nov.15. We have no human children but we have Shawnee (southern) and Wappoo (brave) in Cherokee. They are dachsund rat terrier mix and they will be 8 nov.20. I have had them since they were a day old they're mother wouldnt feed them....

Lost my Dad

My Dad passed away 5:20 sat morning.... Its been along tough week. He was so proud of my weight loss progress.. But now that I havent been able to eat for the past week Im having trouble keeping things down. I have been faithful with my vit. and protien shakes but I have lost 11 pounds this past week. Im hoping someone might have some suggestions to get my system but up to handle foods again.

Had endoscopy today
on September 29, 2010 5:25 pm
So I went for my last test for pre-op today my endoscopy. The doc signed off for the surgery he did have to take a few biopsies and said I need to stay on the previcid which is a bummer that was one of the meds I was hoping I could stop. Maybe down the road after my surgery. So now I go and see the surgeon on Oct 14 and get my date yaaaaaaaaaaaa

Went to the Cardio today

So I went to the cardio today to get my pre-op results from my Stress test and pet test. Doc said everything was PERFECT. and as far as any plaqe in my ateries its ZERO ya Im so happy and then to put the icing on the cake i have lost another 3 pounds since last week.

The waiting thing is so hard

 Hi,Well  started this process 2 months ago and I'm almost done with all my pre-op testing the last one is the 29th for an endoscopy. So far all is great but I have this awful feeling that something is going to go wrong. Did any one else here ever feel this way I'm sure there are. I have done nothing but research on this every since my intro meeting. I have researched the Dr and the hosp. And I feel comfortable putting my life in their hands... I am on here 3,4 times A da and I get such good advice and encouragement from every one here. I just cant Waite for the day that I can stand at the kitchen sink to do dishes and not come out of it sweating so bad its like I just washed my hair. I look forward to this new chapter in my life knowing that all it can be is a positive experience after all these depressing years of being fat and not wanting to enjoy life. My goodness I just cant Waite to hear that  anesthesiologist say count back to 3... At that very moment well start a whole new life. This is the biggest thing I have ever done. And when I get to my goal weight The next biggest thing I want to do is remarry my husband in a real wedding gown!!!   I thank every one for all there advice and tips...
