Surgery from HELL was preformed on February 15, 2007.  
After my Bowle twisted and they let me rot in the hospital bed 4 days the took me in for emergency bowel obstruction surgery where i ended up dying on the table - no oxygen to my brain for 2.5 minutes. (5 minutes and your completely brain dead - I was half way there)!
Its jan 2008 and I'm still healing from a large open wound in my abdomen from an infection from the hospital.  So much for Laposcopic!!!  Due to an unprepared OR i had full open.  Which i beleive is really all this Dr knew how to preform.  
He doesn't care about me - oh they bill me but never see how I'm doing. NICE!

All Said - I'm finally getting healthy.  Although besides almost losing my life, I lost my job position (due to being out of work 6 months) I've lost friends, I've lost all my hair - look at the picture now ya see it - NOW you don't.  Worst its taking a toll my marriage which i only hope I don't loose that too.  Oh, he's been my rock by my bed every day while i was in my coma, he's been there but its hard for him too.

I hope 2008 is a better year.  I've lost 102lbs and now that I'm finally getting some energy andhealing my open wound I can start toning and exercising.  I've got a lot more I'd like to loose.
Unfortunatly I can eat anything sugar no problem.  BUT i don't - i can't go back not with what i've been through.  I do eat less - but i think i should join weight watchers or something.
My stupid hospital and thier crappy a$$ program didn't help me AT ALL!  She never even called to supoort me to ask how are you after you almost DIED!  She's a JOKE!

Merry Christmas - I found out I was approved for GBS!!!!!  It took 5 weeks but it came through.  I was scheduled for surgery 1/11/07 but i have to postpone due to issues with my job.  I rescheduled for 2/15/07 :-)
