Pre-Op Optifast help!!!

I'm a new member of this site and I'm excited to share my journey with everyone! My pre-op optifast diet starts this Friday (lap-band surgery on May 13th) and I need some ADVICE!!! I am NO FAN of drinking things that are unpleasant...lol. My body just shuts down and it'll be absolute torture to get anything down the hatchet...lol. I was trying to research possible additions to the drink to make it bearable, but haven't been able to find anything worthwhile. My NP said to add a coffee packets or almond extract....ANY OTHER IDEAS??? Is there a forum for pre-op help?
