This is my first post here on OH, and I am planning on having the Lap Band surgery in the very near future. So my good friend Alicia had her surgery today! She's truly been a great help in my desire to go through with the surgery. I don't have a date set yet, still waiting on insurance etc, but after talking to her today, I am more excited than ever! She had her surgery for Lap Band around 830am and was home and doing great just hours later! I can't wait for insurance to approve me! I did my 6month supervised diet but had a "significant gap" in the middle due to a foot injury and a nice winter illness, so if thats not sufficient for them, I will have to wait just a few more months for my 6months, but it will so be worth it!!!
