6 months :)

Yesterday made 6 months postop. I am doing great. My health is better and I am down from 401 preop, 377 day of surgery and today I am 279. It is slow going at this point but I am still hopeful :) I see my surgeon tomorrow and I really hope he is pleased. Life is changing....

I....jogged!!!

Me...who was 401lbs in October..actually jogged around the block. I cant believe it. Today I am 316lbs. Thats over  80lbs lost. I havent jogged in..ohhh...15 years lol. I was having a hard time walking around Walmart a few months ago and today I jogged. Wow...thak you God for this opportunity. I am so blessed!

My Story

I have struggled with my weight for pretty much my whole life. I've always been "overweight" but 10 years ago I had a child and never lost the weight. I guess that put me into the obese category. My problem hasn't really been food, I'm not sure exactly what the problem is :) I got married and I think now I eat to keep up with my husbands appetite. It just seems like a never ending struggle. I've tried a lot of things from crash diets to pills but I can't stick with anything. I'm now doing all of my pre-op appointments in Augusta and hope to have RNY within the next three months!
