My name is Deloris, I am 39 yrs of age.  I am happily married and have been going on 14 yrs.  I have three lovely children ages 17, 14, and 12.   I have been obese all of my life.  As a child growing up I have always been the largest child of my siblings, the largest of my friends.  Well I have been praying about having this surgery one day.  But I have always been afraid.  But it comes a time in your life when you just can't take it anymore.  Well I'm at that point and I refuse to give up on me, my children and my spouse.  I love who I am as a person, but I hate how I look as a person.  I am looking to be on the thinner side one day. I hope by having the WLS it will be the best thing that has ever happen to me.

I am officially one year and two months out and have lost 100 pounds.  Yippe!!!!!!!  Now I am wearing a size 12 hoping to get to a 10 comfortably.  Hope to check in a whole lot more.  Thank everyone for their support.

Turning the BIG 40

Well I turned 40 on May 13th.  I must admit I think that I was be this size at this age.  Oh by the way I am a size 12-14.  "WOW"  I have gotten so many compliments.  Some welcoming some not so much.  I am proud of myself I am down to 173 pounds.  I have change my goal weight to 160.  So now I have 13 more pounds to loose.  Wish me good luck.  Love all of you for your support.

Well it's April and I have 13 lbs to go befor I reach my goal.  I am so excited because Next month this time I will be 40 years old.  And hopefully I will have met my goal weight.  If not I have two more months before  my one year surgversary.  Wow what a change.
