Bariatric Buddies!!! I hope all is well.  I am 20 weeks out and only 40 more lbs to go to hit my overall weight loss goal ...however that won't be happening for a few more months since I'm with child. No biggie, once baby is here, it's on and poppin to get back in shape. This was just a brief update to say Hi. Keep up the good work and chat with you all later.

Hey Bariatric Buddies,

                                              HAPPY NEW YEAR and all that jazz!!! I am 14 weeks out and down 58 lbs. I didn't experience any hair loss or thinning as some described having around 3 months out. My appetite has been so so...I've been having some nausea and morning sickness due to the pregnancy,but hopefully that will be over soon as I'll be in my 2nd trimester tomorrow. All is well with me. I still take all of my vitamins, make sure I get my walking on and continue on my healthy life journey. I wish you all much success in 2013!!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! Let me start out by saying I am Thankful for this wonderful website and ALL of my wonderful Bariatric Buddies that understand the journey to a healthier lifestye.

I am 10 weeks out and 43 lbs down.

This is my 1st Holiday. It's not hard like I imagined it'd be, mainly because I no longer look at food the same. I'm hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my house (as usual) but will blame not eating much on the recent nausea caused by the baby. Yes you read it right, I'M PREGNANT!!! It wasn't in my plan to get pregnant so soon after surgery, but God has a way of showing who has the master plan. Anyways, all is going well with me and I pray the same for my buddies. Enjoy this day and take time to let someone know what you're Thankful for.
