My surgery date is 12/29/11.  Coming up FAST!!!!!!  WOW!!!!!

Nearly 3 years, and I have my approval for my RNY to DS surgery with Dr. Keshishian in Glendale, California!!!!  I think of this as my early Christmas present!!!!!!

Here is a copy of the e-mail:
I am pleased to inform you that your surgery has been determined to be medically necessary and therefore, covered by the ****** Insurance Plan of benefits.     The board action only dealt with your eligibility for the procedure.  That is now resolved in your favor.  All arrangements for the surgery should be made through our administrator, as per usual, as they are for any covered surgical procedure.     The credit for this reversal goes to you and to the board of Trustees.  The prior independent medical reviews had determined that your earlier surgery did not need to be fixed (my non-medical term).  Based on your presentation, the board changed the question and asked for a final IMR.     On behalf of the board of Trustees, best wishes for the holidays.         *********     -General Counsel
