Leslie McClellan, M.D.
I went to a seminar and that was my first impression of Dr. McClellan, and some of her staff and I was very inpressed, they know their stuff, I had my first visit in the office with Dr.McClellan and she is very nice and tells you everything you need to know and takes her time with you and my daughter went with me to the visit and the dr. included her in the visit as well. the staff was great and I felt like I had been going to see them all for ever, so at this point I would tell anyone looking for a surgeon she is the one. rn

psych eval

Well I passed the psych eval,and all my papers are at Dr. McCellan's office, I called last Thurs. and they said that my paper would be send in on Tues. so I called Yesterday, and was told that my paper's have to be send to the other office and they would be sent out maybe by Monday, I ask to be called when they are sent out, so we will see if they call me if now I will call them back Tue and see what is up,

Stress Test

I had the chem stress test and  just got a call from the Dr.s office, and My old heart is good so now I am all done with the pre op stuff other then the scope I don't know when she will do that,
I am off today to get the feedback on my psych evel and then Dr. McClellan office can fax everything over to the Ins. comp  sure hope they don't take their time with it any way thing are moving very fast soon I will be on the losing side, I can't wait to become a loser

Dietary consult

Well Yesterday Sept. 12,06 I had the Dietary consult in Harvard, Sharon  the nutritional lady, is so funny I just love her, she makes you feel good, and also she is very helpful which is great, I had alot of questions and she listen to them and had great answers,
Now that is done, just have to wait until next week for the Psych, eval report to be done, and the everything can be send to the insur. comp.

My Journey

I though that maybe I  should get this started, Well I  went to the seminar in early Sept 2006 and found that it was a lot of info.
Met with the dr. and some of the staff they were all very nice, That night I made my mind up to have this done, you see I was going to have the lapband but after the meeting I decided to do the bypass, so that is what  I am working for.
I had the consult with Dr. McClellan on aug 16 2006. I met with the staff and was given the bands to work with to build up my strength, which I have been using everyother day ,  Dr. M, whats me to have  pulmonary clearance which I have done Aug. 20,2006 and passed it, and also had to do a cardiac clearance which I did Sept.1,2006 and did not pass that one Dr. Leo, said that I have to have a chemical  stress test, that is going to happen Friday Sept,14 and 17 2006 I will let you know how that comes out.. 
I did the Psyco Eval in two visits, I have one more to go to at that one she will give me the report, I am sure I did ok.Oh the dr. name is Lisa Breisch she is in Loves Park
I still have the dietary consult to do and then they can send everything to Ins. for the aproval
