I asked my Dr. for this surgery in June and she didnt like it right away.  She knows my medical history and although the recommendation came from my Gyno, she was not happy.  I didnt hear about anything for a month, so I called and they said they meant to call me that the insurance company wanted more info, and by the way, your Dr. is on vacation all summer.  So, I wrote a letter to the main dr and the next week, I got approved to see the weight loss surgery dr and the nutritionist on the 27th of August.  My co worker and two cousins have had this surgery and are doing great.  I really am looking forward to the same!
