Yea! Nita is back among the living again. She was feeling pretty crappy yesterday, anesthesia took quite a while to dissapate but she is 'eating' and drinking and as soon as she can get fluid intake high enough she can go home. She got hardly anything in yesterday at all but today is going full steam ahead!

just got back from seeing Nita in the hospital. Did three laps with her and she was pooped out. She is still getting over the haze of anesthesia and feeling kind of sick but she knows that will pass. It was great to see her. ~ Robin

Just spoke with Nita - 7 hours after her scheduled surgery time. She only got to her room about 2 hours ago. She is still foggy and feels like a truck hit her but has already done a lap around the nurses station and is looking forward to seeing me tomorrow. ~ Robin

2 1/2 year failure?
posted on 6/7/12 1:52 pm
Well, I went to Weight Watchers and it has introduced me to many things I should not have begun to eat.  Popcorn, low carb breads and chips, sugar free candy and instead of losing, I have eaten myself up to 132 or so from my low low of 117.  My actual normal weight should be about 125.  I am in that space of knowing what I should be doing but not doing it.  If not for walking on the treadmill every day, I would be up even more.  My head is not in the right place.  How could I do this to myself?  I am not sure how to set myself straight.
I know the drill, water, protein and excercise.  If you were new I would be telling you that.
