It is the day before and I am so excited. People keep asking me if I am nervous and at this point I am not.  I am totally counting on the Lord to sustain me and provide for me.  I am thrilled to be at this point in my life.  I have so many things to do but I find myself just counting down the hours.  I am thankful for the perfect timing in all of this.  I wanted it to happen sooner but insurance held things up and an extra trip to a cardiologist slowed things down.  I can see the Lords' hand through it all.  I am thankful for supportive friends and of course my family.  My kids are thrilled and excited for Mom to feel better.  We told them about the surgery from the healthy perspective which was recommended by another WLS patient.  

Excited to see what the next year holds.  I have just three goals:  Stay close to Jesus, eat my protein and exercise 3-5 times a week.  I can do it - this time for myself.

I start this journey at 361 pounds.
