Hello Friends!
My name is Jeremy Norman
I am 23, I'm married to an Angel named Roberta who has been with me through hell and back. I once weighed 803lbs. November,2004 I underwent Gastric Bypass Surgery at OSU Hospital. The complications were many and lead me to almost dying 5 times. I was given less than 40% chance to live but here I am!!! I was in the Hospital for 5 months and a Nursing home for 9 months. I am now home but still Bedridden. As I work each day to walk again, I am taking online classes to become a Motivational Speaker/ Pastor. I have also been on Entertainment Tonight, My Local News, and Obesty Help Magazine. I want to help change the world and the views of others towards Obese and Disabled People. My Obesity is caused by a Low Testosterone disease known as Froelich's Syndrome yet I am still judged. I have my own website now at www.usedtobe803.com , I am on Myspace at www.myspace.com/usedtobe803  and I do videos on Youtube at www.youtube.com/usedtobe803    I  pray that you will choose health and love life!!

Hello Dear Friends!!

Hello,

Thank you all for praying for me and all of the support these past few years..
I have been through so much and I am thankful to be alive. Right now I am currently undergoing heavy in home therapy so that I will be able to stand and walk again someday. I am also being monitered by Easter Seals and they are trying to assist me in any way possible.
I just turned 23 on the 17th and the 20th was my 5 year anniversary. We didn't get to go out as planned but we were together!

I apologize for not posting much on here.. I have my usedtobe803.com  and my myspace and my youtube and my schoolwork and therapy so it's been a Bundle lol.

God Bless you all and I will check back every week so please don't give up on me!

My Story

2004, I weighed 803lbs and it was not because of OverEating. When I was a baby I had seizures. Dr. gave me meds till age 2. I then began to gain weight. They'd say "He Just Eat Too Much" and until age 16 I never knew I had a Disease. A Physical brought a Blood Test. My Testosterone was below normal range so I saw an Endocrinoligist. I was diagnosed with Froelich's Syndrome(Adiposogenital Dystrophy). 2004, I was 600lbs and dying. My Dr. advised Gastric Bypass. During the wait I gained 200lbs of water. I had surgery November, 2004. I had many complications and almost died 5 times. I am bedridden and expecting to have surgery on both of my hips for HeteroTopic Ossification. I'll never give up and I'll always be here for you. If you or anyone you know is Obese please seek help or if your child is showing signs of Obesity get checked.
