For me, it was one of those things--like quitting smoking for me, where I got to that point, then I thought "what did I ever see in you?"

You know, your whole outlook is going to change, and it won't be a struggle anymore! You'll be amazed. I like the idea of pizza, but when I imagine actually eating a bite, it kind of turns me off and I'm a HUGE devotee of pizza. These changes happened without me even noticing! All of a sudden I want salad and salmon (I never liked fish before!)

Who knows what changes will happen that will make this process so much easier for you! I find that I literally don't miss all the little food items that before I thought I couldn't live without.

I understand going through a grief process too. It makes sense! How much of our lives (whether we have a weight problem or not) is based around how we eat, what we eat, who we eat with, where we eat, etc.

Take a deep breath, and know that even though your style of eating is going to change, in about 7 weeks, you'll be able to eat pretty much all your favorites. Chocolates, cookies, pizza, potato chips, and hamburgers don't go away after the sleeve (THANK GOD!) and you will get to eat the things you love again, but when you do you'll be a skinny minnie!
