I went to a seminar. 08/23/07 I wanted a second opinion. Was going to get the lapband but wanted more info on Rny surgery. Soooo I went to this seminar where Dr Kim does both and got his unbiased opinion on both and meet people who had both surgeries. So I am leaning towards Rny. Its what I wanted deep down and the other clinic only deals with lap only. I kind of felt they discouraged me from wanting Rny since they dont do it. period. Dr Kims office is a Center of Execellence.The only one in Ft.Worth And that does mean a lot to me He also preformed HUNDREDS of laproscopic Rny's and Lapbands,,No Deaths and ensures your saftey and success. So enough said I want to take the Rny route. Again this is my personal opinion.

Well I havent posted in a while this is a slow process. But I found out my paper work was submitted 08/08/07 to insurance and On 08/21/07 I was approved. But I have been thinking of doing Rny surgery. And if I go this route it will take yet another submission of papers again.Also this is a diffrent Dr. Dr.Kim who is with a center of exellence Hospital. I know I have tossed and turned on this, And I could still change my mind. So even if I or Dr.kim says you would be a better canidate for lap I will still use him. He does do both procedures. So again I am leaning towards Rny. I did attend a seminar and Dr. Kim has preformed hundreds of lapro- Rny no deaths and is very thorough. I even asked how does he prevent blood clots excetra and he told me how he prevents them.they also have a wonderful after care program to use for all your follow care and will have continued education classes. which I think is important.

I FINALLY FINISHED

I finally finished my cardio/stress test and blood work, I really hated that cardio I felt like I was going to pass out !! But I made it. My paper work was submitted 07/25/07  So now the wait is on. I feel like a a kid on vacation are we there yet. no, am I there yet no, when will I get there ? I dont know" But I can't wait. I am so ready. for a time and date. well I thought paper work was submitted that day not it was not submitted until Aug.8th So that was a waste of me wondering time huh, Oh well It all worked out for the best.
