I went to a seminar. 08/23/07 I wanted a second opinion. Was going to get the lapband but wanted more info on Rny surgery. Soooo I went to this seminar where Dr Kim does both and got his unbiased opinion on both and meet people who had both surgeries. So I am leaning towards Rny. Its what I wanted deep down and the other clinic only deals with lap only. I kind of felt they discouraged me from wanting Rny since they dont do it. period. Dr Kims office is a Center of Execellence.The only one in Ft.Worth And that does mean a lot to me He also preformed HUNDREDS of laproscopic Rny's and Lapbands,,No Deaths and ensures your saftey and success. So enough said I want to take the Rny route. Again this is my personal opinion.

how time flies

I cant believe it ! I am 3 yrs out and I am still in control , of my weight. If the scale moves I control what I put in my mouth, I know I need to cut back. I wont lie I had been up to 140 and said " Oh Hell NOOO !!! I have a tool and use it, Move more eat less, I am probably at goal already but the extra flab is there no matter what. I hope to have plastic surgery one day !!!!
All you WL peeps dont give up !!!

I am down 109 lbs and doing well Just turned 42 The 5th of this month and cant believe, The time flies. And I feel great !!!

O.k I hit the 182 lbs What a joy !!! I am doing Well. and STILL LEARNING ALONG THE WAY !!! Protein first is my motto to stick with no matter how good the salad looks, and I love Salad !!! And I love wine so moderation to 2oz. And no more. O.k Thats What I try to stick to, It dont work all the time. The plus is I cant drink to much, I get tipsy pretty quick.

My Hair is Gone

Well I did it! Off with the hair. I wasnt intending it to be that short but. What can I say I was losing quite a bit anyway. The beautician didn't listen to what I asked for, Oh Well it will grow back. I am still going between my weight of 186-188. I feel like I am stuck 4ever there. I am wondering if I will be at that permantly. I did slow down my exercise cause I fell and injured my knee, passed out and woke up to my kids freaking out cause I fell on my face from the chair that I was sitting on. But I am doing alright now. I need to get back to the swing of things.

I havent been on awhile, All is well I finally hit 188.8. I am Sooo Happy, The journey is a roller coaster but I love the results.
