Hello How is everyone? Well lets see where shall I start, I stay busy with 4 kids and work and enjoying my hubby being home as much as he can be, he will deploying back to Iraq in july so I still have a little while but just knowing that he is going kinda sucks!! It will be his 5th tour in 7yrs every odd year he has gone! As for me and the surgery thus far things are going smoothly, I seem to loosing really slow but its all in good time I am trying to be patient some days I get really bummed because I am not loosing but then I just keep moving on....I am working for Aafes on post, I love the job and the customers are awesome, we just got a new manager so alot of things have changed, but for the most part its fun!!!!! My DH is having surgery next week on his neck and shoulder so I will be busy with him and the kids go back to school this friday , my youngest is going to Pre-K I am so sad but excited for her at the same time. So if you dont here from me in a while, its not because I dont love you all it's just life has me very busy!!!!!!! Talk to you all soon!! Lots of Love chelle

Another Update

Hello everyone,
Sorry I havent updated or written back, I have been busy. Well I hit a little bump in the road but not too major, I found out last week that I am allergic to the sutures on the inside of my stomach and had a leak in my incision, I went to the doctor and he said that I had an allergic reaction to the sutures. Needless to say he gave me a shot in my incision twice and then cut about 5-6 inches down and popped the fluid built up and now my DH has to pack it with gauze 3xs a day, what fun, not..lol Well wanted to update you guys on everything I go back saturday morning and see my doc again I go twice a week 52 miles away...but its ok because other than that I am healthy and happy I love my RNY!!! JUST A LITTLE HELLO

Well it has been a week for me, I had my open RNY wow that was a shocker, but I am making it day  by day, and I have to say I absolutely love my doctor he is awesome and I thank God every day for him and his knowledge, there are some days I question what I have done and that is only because of the pain I know once I get through this part I will be great full, don"t get me wrong I am now!! I am still struggling with the protein, but doesn't everyone at some point and time...LOL  I have met some wonderful people on this Journey and hope that we will continue our journey together, which i am sure we will! The hospital stay is vague I slept I think two days away...lol and then the walking sipping more walking and more sipping...lol but all and all things are good and life is beautiful, much love to you all and best wishes to you all!!!!

GOT A DATE

I got a date my surgery is May 12th , hard to believe all of this is going so fast. I just seen my surgeon Saturday the 26th of April and I am already approved. I have cried, laughed & not stopped smiling yet Not that smiling is a good thing!!!! lol I want to thank all of you beautiful people for all  your support !!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

YAYYYY!!!!!! I GOT A CALL FROM DR. WARNOCKS THIS MORNING AND I HAVE AN APPT. THIS SATURDAY FOR MY CONSULT INSTEAD OF MAY 20TH, THAT IS SUPER DUPER NEWS ....LOL.....I JUST WANTED TO SHARE WITH ALL MY NEW OH FRIENDS!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!

My Story

Live Laugh Love





My story for me started at a very young age, I have been over weight for as long as I can remember. I have a picture of me as young as 3 and I have to say I was a chunker...lol. My whole school life I was known as the unpopular and fat kid, I didnt have very many friends. So of course while everyone was hanging out and having sleep overs I was at home sad and lonely and eating my way through life. I would have to say though that my biggest weight gain came after my first son was born and we moved away from our home town for the first time, I married a soldier and of course you go where he has to go, I was 19 had a husband a baby and no family so that led me to more depression, however  I never once regretted my husband or child then we moved once again and I got pregnant with our second son that was a roller coaster all of its own I ended up on bed rest for bleeding and toxemia gained some weight there but lost all of it afterwards walking about 3 miles a day. So on to germany we went. Love the country, got pregnant with my 3rd child a girl ended up gaining a ton of weight with her and lost a little after but then came my 4th child another girl and had gestational diabetes for the first time and then came the poundage woooo and it has yet to come off and that has been 4 years ago. Tried to get the gastric bypass done a little over a year ago and ended up having other medical issues that prohibited from happening I had to deal with a ton of pain which I was unable to get up off my fat butt...lol but I had a full hysterectomy in Jan. 08 and here I am today trying to embark on this new journey, WLS I am super excited and ready I have been exploring this for many years now but wanted to make sure that I wasnt gonna have any more children and that my husband could be here and not deployed. And here we are ready for a new chapter in my life and our families life......
