Surgeon Testimonial

Adam Naaman, M.D.
DR. Naaman was very informative. When I first went to his meeting he aswered all of my questions. My first consult with him I had a list of questions to ask but he answered all of them before I could ask them. He was very nice and I feel he enjoys helping improve lives.Dr. Naamans staff was awsome!! every one was so helpful, and not one of them mind if I called 3/4 times a day with questions.

I have struggled with my weight  all my adult life, I had wls when I was 21 , I lost 130 pounds in 9 months, never believing it would return, I gained 75 pounds back in a course of 10 years.I have been given a second chance to regain control of my life,God  has blessed me with another chance. This last year of my life has been the most challenging for any human being. But I'm reclaiming my life and I will some day win the fight of obesity.

Happy Birthday to Me
on August 22, 2008 5:29 am
Today is my 33rd birthday. I had left thyriodectomy on Monday and I'm still recuperating. this year has been crazy. But my weight has been a challenge. I got down to 194 in march and now I'm at 217. this is the highest I have been. Where is my DS? she is sleep this week because of he anesthesia and the narcotics I have been on. I have not had a BM in a week. I know TMI but its very disturbing when you are used to going every day if your life.
anywhoo. Things are getting intense now. for the last year I have been finishing my prerequisites so that I can start my RN to BSN and then my FNP. well its starts Monday.!! Classes Finally start on Monday. I am nervous but ready to get it started and done. I need to take handle of my weight again. So I am going to start to trying to figure out what wagon I need to jump on so I can finish this thing already.
until next time...

4th Of July Challenge
on May 31, 2008 8:06 am
I have not been eating right or exercising and my cruise is coming up. I need to get on the ball.So starting June 1 I am going to do a challenge first a 4th of july challenge then a crusie challenge. I am going to challenge myself to drink 64 oz of water daily (at least) and excersise of some sort 3 times a week. I have to low carb it because that is the way to go for me. Medifast was great but it got real old real quick I lost a total of 17 pounds and I have gained it all but 5 pounds back. so thats no good. So I will also try to check in daily to record my progress and get more active on the board. until next time....

I love MediFast
on March 9, 2008 9:06 pm
Well it has been a month since I started Medifast and I must say things have ben nice. I have lost a total of 15 pounds and I am truly feeling better about me. I took off this weekend because I really miss food. But I am going back for my last 10 pounds. DH is on and has had great results. I am going to get back to exercising this week to step up my game. I really want to start running. I went out with a bunch of my co workers and for the first time in 12 years I must say that I love the way I looked. I loved all the compliments and I love the way my clothes looked. I did not wear a girdle that night, could you believe it. I had on sexy undies. It was wonderful.. Until next time. I will report back in a month with some success....ttfn

First week on Medifast
on February 8, 2008 4:57 am
Well my first week on MF is complete and I am down 9lbs. It feels good but iI am a little nervous tht I cant break that 200 again. The Diet is pretty good. I m used to the food and have order a nother 2weeks. Next week I am going home so I m nervous about eating but I m going to take it one day at a time. So I am off to work....One ting about MF , you basically eat alot like we do with WLS, 6 small meals about every 2-3 hours. I know my puch is still alive because I cant eat hardly anything ( Imiss that feeling) SO know that I am okay with the diet I have to add exercise which means pulling out the elliptical and kicking rocks. My cruise is in August so I have 16 pounds to goal!!!

Give it a BIG try
on January 31, 2008 7:07 am

Today I started Medifast. I have been researching it for some time now and I like its no brainer option. 5 mf meals and 1 lean and rean which for me will be chicken or fish and  salad. they have a website and the people on the plan are dropping weight like crazy. the whole plan is just like atkins you eat low carb but also low fat and calorie. you have to count nothing you just it the foods, (shakes, soups, bars, puddings oatmeal) and lean and green. I have to give it my all because I want to get these 30 pounds off for good. and, its not that cheap eihe so is a bit of an investment. and my husand is eatching me because he wants to do it but wants to see if ti works.
So this morning I had the peach oatmeal that was nasty as hell, but I did it  I m not a oatmeal eater so its going to be hard. I am exited because If I just stick to it it will happen... so I ill post next week my results of my 1st week...
