My Story

Hello everyone!

My name is Stacey Coats, I live in Mississippi. I am 36 years old. I have been married to the same young man for 17 years now and have 2 beautiful daughters named Taylor and Jordan. I recently graduated from college with an Associates and a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications. Boy that was an accomplishment in itself.

I recently decided that I could not keep dieting on the yo yo roller coaster any longer, so I looked into the lap band surgery. I got my lapband on December 29, 2011. I am a newbie and I am desperately needing help keeping motivated and inspired. I do not have a lot of support from my family. They think that I should have been able to loose the weight on my own instead of cheating as they call it. They seem to be against the whold thought of any assistance or tools for weigh loss.

I am  kind of at a loss when speaking to them about what I am going through. I know through the help of my Lord Jesus Christ and some great motivational friends, I can obtain my goals to a new and healthier me!
