Thursday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

George, Have the Greatest Ever on the 13th!!! It’s good to see more guys out here on Obesity Help. We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. Drop by the "Men's Message Board" at- http://www.obesityhe lp.com/forums/men/ -to see how other Guys are doing with their surgeries. A lot of info and advice specifically tailored to Men. I’m just dropping by to let you know that there’s a huge crowd of strangers out here pulling for you and holding you in our prayers. 2 Weeks to go

2 Weeks to go and I have started my liquid diet. I know I can stay with it for 2 weeks, got to have the willpower.

Getting close

I am well on my way to making the big step. The only pre-op thing I have left is my endoscopy. Then I can set the date. I was looking at Dec 13, but for family reasons I may request Dec 11. Dr Matin is my doctor and I know he does his surgeries on Tuesday and Thursday.
