Thursday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

George, Have the Greatest Ever on the 13th!!! It’s good to see more guys out here on Obesity Help. We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. 6 Months out - is anyone really reading this?
Six months and one day out. 7 lbs from goal as of today. Just 7 lbs. I find it all so unbelieveable.

Doctor's appt Monday for 6 month check up. Already did my labs. All came back good. No problems at all.

I have a minor problem with stomach discomfort, but it is a small price to pay. The doc thinks it might be an ulcer. I really need to get it checked out.

Congratulations George! That is quite an accomplishment.

I am scheduled for surgery on the 26th and like to hear all of the success stories. It keeps me from being overwhelmingly nervous.
