Surgeon Testimonial

David Wernsing, M.D.
My about Dr Wernsing are that he was very informative. he is very nice and very confident in what he does. he has pay close attention to my open because of prior surgeries that I have. I really enjoyed his staff I thought they were very nice (Cindy). He is very strict about aftercare. On a scale of 1-10 I give a 10+++ PA Hospital has a really great aftercare program.

My story begins like all others. I started my research in August of 2004 at my highest weight of 346 lbs. i got so tired of being big and realizing that I didn't want to live like this anymore and being at risk for so many co-morbidities. What really made up my mind to have gastric bypass surgery when I went to my 25th Class Reunion. They were calling me Madea from Tyler Perry movies. I informed my classmates that when the time came for the 30th Reunion. I will not look like this when they see me again.

Hi All,

It has been such along time since I posted anything in my blog. i guess it was grieving for my grandmom. Then 5 months after losing my grandmom I broke my foot and has a boot plastered to my leg for almost 6 mos. So in that time I had picked up 38 lbs. It so scary i wnat to get this weight off me. I can still fit in my clothes but they are getting a litle tight .
