18 Months Post- Op
on March 10, 2010 5:18 pm
I can't believe it's been 18 months already since I've had surgery...  I am sitting between 179-185 right now. I know I could lose more but I've gotten into some bad habits lately.  I tolerate Reece's cups.. and I tolerate alot of them!  I am working on getting back into the program.  Protein forward, watching my intake.  I always get at least 100 oz of water a day, so that's not a problem.  I eat too many simple carbs and not enough protein.  I know that's my problem.  Well, the fact that being a full time student doesn't help the fact that simple carbs are abundant in my life either, :-)

Well it is New Year's Eve, I am 182 lbs (yippee!), and ready for this year to be over!  Lately I have found it hard to take care of myself like I should.  Protein and vitamins have been the last thing on my mind, but I'm picking it back up (mainly because I've started getting dizzy upon standing again).  I have lost 138 lbs from my highest weight and 126 lbs from my presurgery weight.  I am excited about that.  I only have about 37 lbs to go from being at my 'ideal' weight. 145 is where I should be to have a normal BMI at 5'4" tall.  it's currently a slow process, but I'm taking it in stride.  I need to get my butt excercising but with school, 3 kids, and a bf ( I know, excuses, excuses) it's hard to focus on exercising....  I'm a work in progress.

I am 9 days from my surgiversary and I am currently at 200.4 lbs!!  I am ecstatic.  I can't wait to get those last few ounces off so I can say that I am in ONEDERLAND!  Of course I still have about 50 lbs to lose, but hey, it's one goal at a time baby!

11 Months Post Op

Well, it's been an interesting couple of months.  I have officially began college. Therefore, my food hasn't been as big of a concern, neither has exercising.  So what do I get for all of that?  I weigh 206.  3 lbs down from the last time I posted.  That stinks. But hey, I recognize the problem and I am working on it as we speak.  I have roughly 1 month before my 1 year surgiversary and I want to be below 200 lbs by then.  I think I can lose 7 lbs in a month.  Wish me luck!

Well I am 9 months, 6 days post op and have officially lost 100 lbs since my pre op appt.  I weighed 309 then and 209 today,  YAY!!!!  Never thought this day would come.  Next goal is to get below 200 (only 10 lbs to do so) then 190, 180, you get the idea.
