    It has been almost 3 years since I had wLS and since then I have lost over 340lbs.It is hard to believe,when I look at old pictures of myself it makes me sick.I had no life back then and din't care if I lived or died to tell you the truth.So many changes in my life it is hard to keep up.I am now at a point of my life where I don't know what I want out of life.I have lived to fast in the last 18 months and did the things I said I wouldn't do.Drinking,smoking pot and doing things that I woul;d of never done when I weighed 598 lbs.I have stopped the drinking and pot smoking and I hope I can stay clean.

3 YEARS AGO TODAY.

I  was sitting here this morning thinking about my 3 year anniversary.I thought about what life was like before wls.It was no life at all.I didn't do anything,I sat or laided in bed all day and night and ate and watched tv.I never went anywhere,I stayed home all the time no matter what was going on.I had giving up on life.I didn't care if I lived or died.That is sad but very true.I wished for death each and every day.I sit here today a new man,a man who enjoys his life,his freedom and all the things that come with massive weight loss.I had to learn how to live all over.I at one point didn't leave my house for 8 years,I mean I didn't leave my house at all.Day in and day out I watched the world go bye my window.I watched news events and so many things happen as I laid there watching it all go bye.If you are reading this thinking there is no hope for you please remember this,there is hope,people out there are waiting to help you.You are not alone.I know it may seem like there is no hope but I promise you this,you can regain your life and live once more.When I weighed 598 lbs I couldn't do anything and I was always in pain and I was so depressed that I wanted it all to end.Then I found Dr John Kelly,he saved my life and i'll never forget him for what he did for me.Please email me anytime if you need someone who knows what it was like to be very big and i'll do anything I can to help you.God Bless you all...............steve c

Well I thought it was about time for a update on me.I have been having a very hard time with my weight for the last 9 months.I have been up and down and at one time I gained 16 lbs in one month.I managed to lose that but some months I lose a few pounds and another month I gain.Last month I gained 8 lbs.Being almost 3 years out it is easy to cheat and if we don't watch what we eat we can gain it back.Right now I am having some other medical problems and I have put the weight on the back burner.It is my heart and I have tons of test in the next few weeks and i'm hoping it is not as bad as it can be.
