My Story

Started in November, 2011 by visiting Genesis Bariatric Center at 251 lbs.  I was required to visit my PCP for 6 months in a row to discuss weight.  Also during this time, I was required to have a psch evaluation, various medical tests, visits with nutritionist and physical therapist.  Approved for surgery on 6/29/11.  After blood work and meeting with surgeon we scheduled for 9/19/11.

I was on a high protein diet for 2 weeks prior to surgery and lost 10 lbs bringing my weight to 231.

Surgery went exceptionally well, and I was released two days later.
