I'm frustrated, discouraged...honestly I'm pissed. The surgery is an exclusion on my benefit plan which means the insurance company won't pay for it AT ALL!!!

The killing part is that I've even tried to see a dietician, thinking maybe the surgery isn't for me. The insurance company told me that I'd have to be diabetic before they'll cover the visit. WTF?!?   So I guess I have to continue eating until I make myself sick and then, MAYBE, they'll consider a visit to a dietician. GET THE FUCC OUTTA HERE!!!

I'm trying not to give up. I've written a letter to my employer expressing my concerns, so hopefully they'll make some changes during the next open enrollment. BASTARDS!!!!
