Well, I just had surgery yesterday and boy was I surprised.  I am not in as much pain as I thought I would be; although, I stay current with my pain meds.  I haven't slept as much as they said I would, maybe 3 hours of sleep last night off and on.  My port site is the where the most pain is coming from on my stomach.  I have developed a system for when I cough: pillow held up in between my stomach & my sliding glass door with a lot of pressure.  I haven't been sick or hungry which is a plus.

My family has been here any time I need them: to get out of a chair, or just fixing me something to drink.  I am going to have my measurements taken today and then I will post them. The first weigh in back in September and October I weighed 236, November & December I weighed 226; and finally my surgery date 12/17/10 I weigh 222!
