I understand that you are out of it but, walking will help. You would think that it would not because you are feeling a little sick. Don't fear getting out of bed and go to he bathroom as much as possible. The drain tube will go away in 5-7 days and it is all up hill from there.

God did not give us a spirit of fear of of power love and of a sound mind. Cry out to him and he will hear you. He will comfort you and give you peace.

You can do it! Everything will be just fine. We are all in this losing games together.

How do they always say it..no pain no gain...its soo worth it in the long run. You'll be suprized how much weight you'll lose in just one week. Im sooo thankful I chose to do this for myself..and you'll be feeling that same thing in no time. 47lbs light and 15 1/2 inches smaller in just under a months time. Trust me girl..its all gunna be good for ya.

Good luck on a speedy recovery. Just make sure to take your pain medication faithfully that will help out a lot..and dooo a lot of walking around the house or outside..just take it easy.

Hey Sis just wanted to send some love your way and let you know you are on my mind. I hope everything is going well for you . The hard part is now beginning but WE!!! Can do it ..Congrats on the procedure. and updates as soon as you can!!!

La Rena, I'll be praying for you. I think all these emotions are normal. Even if I had to do it all over again, with the complications, I would in a second. I left the hospital and left 6 pills/day for high BP and some other behind! Even though I feel pretty bad now, I'm already seeing improvements. Plus, in my surgeons newsletter yesterday, 1 lb of weight loss = 5 lbs of pressure off your knees.

Go La Rena, and only look forward to new habits a new lifestyle and a new way of life. I'm so glad your date has finally arrived, and I'll be cheering for you. It's not easy at first, but it is SO worth the rest of your life being lived as a "normal" human being in the public's eye. The Thrift Shops are going to be your "New Best Friends" -- lol...wait awhile before putting any expense into clothing and if you have a support group they may have a clothing exchange of their own.
