Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I was always skinny growing up. My dad called me beanpole and my sister chubby even though she really wasn't When I got married I was 105 pounds. Unfortunately I never really learned to deal with the negative things that happened to me thru life. With my 1st pregnancy I gained 70 pounds and didn't loose it all. Gained and kept more with 2nd pregnancy. Depression runs in my family and due to certain circumstances I have always battled it! After my 2nd son was born I was diagnosed with low thyroid - later told it was hashimotos. Also have a long list of other medical problems which ended up with me being on disability at the age of 43. Although I have lost a few pounds here and there thru the years it was always difficult and didn't stay off. ...
