Surgeon Testimonial

Neil S. Marymor, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Marymore was wonderful. He made me feel comfortable despite the complications that we faced. And he did a great job on both of my surgeries.

Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

Weigh In
posted on 5/7/07 2:02 pm
I had my weigh in last week on the 30th. I am at 232lbs.  I was 4 lbs down. I guess it came to about a pound a week. My doctor was happy. I have my next weigh in on the 30th of this month. I hope I do as well. I think Ive gotten down the 6 small meals a day...its starting to feel pretty regular for me. But exercise is my downfall. Its so hard for me to do much of anything bc of my back...so walking is what Im limited to. I know in order to tone up after surgery Im going to have to do more than that. I worry that I wont be able to reshape my body the way I want to if Im so limited. However, Ive been told that after loosing about 50lbs the pain will start to decrease. Maybe then Ill be able to start lifting some light weights to work on my arms and back muscles. I love to ride bike....thats got to be something I save up for too! I know that this journey is not going to be easy. It has already shown that to me. So I felt I needed to do something for me. I started tanning this month. I dont know why, but it makes me feel so much better about myself. I know its bad...but I really enjoy it!
