Ok let me say that no one described the amount of pain that I would be in when I woke up from surgery...OMG!!!!!

And lets add to that the fact that I had to pee as soon as I woke up so that just made things worst and I started crying because I hurt so much but I really had to pee and I didnt want to get out of the bed, so of course I ended up getting up and I was in an emense amout of pain.

But I'll say today I'm a lot better, I took the surgery tape off my cuts and 2 of the 5 cuts looks rather nasty and I can only hope that once they've had a chance to breathe and heal better they'll look better.  But I will def as the surgeron for a prescription for mederma cause its like $30 a tube and I would like to get a script for it so I dont have to pay full price for it.

Well I'm out but I would like to say that I've lost 6 lbs already.

Well today is Friday and Monday I will be having my surgery.  I was cool up until this week.  I made the mistake of watching the procedure again on OR-Live.com and lets just say it was more nerve racking this time seeing it since I am more close to the actual procedure. 
Today I'm supposed to get a call from the surgeons office about what time I have to be at the hosiptal.  I'm still pretty cool right now but I know Sunday I'm not going to be able to sleep and Monday morning my stomach is going to be in knots and I'll have that urge to throw up...
But on a less weiry note on the 26th I'm moving out of my parents house to my own apartment.  My mom thinks that its time for me to be out on my own and stand on my own two feet.  I've never lived alone, in college I had 3 roommates and then when I moved to Philly I stayed with my best friend and then my fiance, so its never been just me.
Anddddddd....I had an interview yesterday for a part time job with this collection agency, the job seems ok, and it pays decent money and then best part is I wont burn much gax driving there from my full time job because its literally around the corner.
But thats all I have for now...

May 12, 2008 is my rebirth date! I will be having my lap band surgery at Osteopathic in Harrisburg, PA my surgeon is Dr. Matthew Davidson.

I dont have to follow any pre-op diet, except for eating light the day before and no eating the day of.

Well I've finally gotten my Nutritionist Appt scheduled but its not until 4/21/08, so that is going delay my surgery even further. I am praying that I get a date before June because I saved up 2 weeks of vacation at work just for the surgery and if for some reason they dont give me a date until after June 4th then I'm going to just have to take my 2 weeks of vacation to do absolutly nothing, and then turn around and use a week of my new vacation time just for the surgery.

I'm just praying that things work themselves out and all my ducks line up in a row.

Well I had all my pre op testing scheduled for this week but I got all of them done yesterday. It really pays off to call people repeatedly to find out if they've had any cancellations, and it pays off to have a nice nurse that calls you when they've had cancellations. I got my EKG, Doc medical clearance, Chest X-ray, & Blood work all done by 5pm yesterday. Now I just need to make up the time at work since I kept leaving yesterday. I'm as healthy as a horse (but big as a cow...) The irony.... Anyways until next time....
