So I am about 10 days out of surgery- I threw out my scale but at 1 week at the docs I was down 6 lbs! I always lose right in the beginning of any diet and then it stops, so I'm waiting.....I got the lap band because I know that if I ever fall off the wagon I can get back on with a fill- not planning on this but past history suggests that I follow all the rules for a while and then a slip here and a slide there and then next thing you know. 
I have very little pain, a stitch in my side is the most annoying thing, and I went back to work 4 days later so, feeling pretty peppy. I'll be back at one month to let you all know and of course, I'm always reading or posting!
I hang out mostly with the LW's , sometimes NY board and check in with the lap band board too!
