Kfir Ben-David
Dr Ben-David is a wonderful Surgeon! I felt 100% comfortable knowing he was the one doing my lap-band surgery. He fully explained the ins/outs of the surgery before hand and went into detail about all the risks involved. No question was left unanswered...
The first time I met Dr Ben-David was at the information seminar and the first thing I noticed about him was that he seemed to know what he was talking about, no matter what questions were thrown at him he knew the answers. We may not have liked the answers he gave but he was honest and truthful in those answers and always gave stastics to back them up.
I would have to say My first impression of Dr Ben-David was that he seemed to be genuine about his concerns for overweight people, he didn't sound as if he were one of those Drs who was just in it for the money. He really seemed to care.
Dr Ben-David seems to be a very strict Dr which is what someone like me needs and I know I'll do great because him and his staff are going to push me to do the very best that I can.
Dr Ben-Davids staff are great and are there for me if I should ever need them. I was visited in the hospital numerous times and was given very detailed instructions on how to proceed after surgery and was given numbers (which included after hours numbers) to contact everyone if I had any questions or concerns.
*Special props go out to Amelia Redic who is EXCELLENT at her job, without her I would not have gotten my surgery done as quickly. THANKS Amelia!!
Overall I would have to say I'm VERY pleased to have had Dr Ben-David as my surgeon and would DEFINITELY reccomend him to anyone who is thinking about weight loss suregry!

Struggling

Having a hard time staying on the pro-op liquid diet but it's getting easier everyday.
