Surgeon Testimonial Jamie Loggins MD. I love how Dr Loggins team works so well together like a well oiled machine. He was very blunt but at the same time seemed to really care about his patients. Robin is a gem so happy and down to earth Corrine and Crystal are both very well informed and can answer any questions without searching for answers. Pam is so nice and easy to talk to. I believe they do everything in their power to prepare their patients for what will be facing them. They consider you a patient for life.. Dr Loggins is very detailed is all he does. I like that Member Interests

 To all the struggling wounded souls out there who have let weight control their lives. Or have used it as a way to hide from life. I have been there but no more. My chains are gone because I have a Father in Heaven and the Lord of my life doesn't want His children me and you to hurt any longer. Lift the burdens you carry to Him.. He wants us to share our pain as well as our joy with Him. My fav. song as a child was" What a friend we have in Jesus All our sins and grief to bare All because we do not carry everything to Him in Prayer oh what peace we often forfeit oh what needless pain we bare all because we do not carry everything to Him in prayer" That sums it all up for me Trying to do everything on my own has got me in the spot I am in now I let it go to far before asking for His unfailing help. Putting the blame on my loved ones mainly my Hubby not good at all. So here I am beginning my journey to a total all the way around rebirth in all areas of my life. My spiritual wellbeing being the first and foremost reason for this journey. Sorry when I get on a roll lol hard to stop but I think you get the picture.

My little guy is growing up :-( on September 12, 2008 5:48 am
I did it!!!! on September 6, 2008 4:17 am I am just so happy. Exactly one year ago today I had my initial consult with Dr Loggins. This morning I weighed in at 136 which put me at a normal BMI. Amazing how much can happen in a year. Thank you Jesus for carrying me through this journey. Thank you my friends and family without whose support this would not have been possible. Did I say I was happy. Have a wonderful day my friends. Tomorrow will be 8 month out from surgery. Since surgery I have lost 78 pounde Total loss in this past year is 106.

Just go looking at my BMI changes on September 1, 2008 4:29 am When I started this whole process my BMI was 44.3 now It is 25.1. just 2 tenths away from being "normal" I am hoping to be able to lose that last 1.5 pounds by Sept 6 th So I can say I went from being Super Obese to normal in 1 year. How cool would that be. Thank you Jesus and my family irl and here on the Maine OH site. Hugs all

Just an update on August 19, 2008 9:26 am Hi It has been awhile since I updated here so thought I would take a few minutes and do that. I am down to 139 pounds 4 pounds away from just being a normal weight . WOW!!! I went shopping and picked up some new pants. I got a size 8 pair of jeans and some size 6 pairs of dressy pants. OMgoodness the 6s fit I didn't even try them on at the store figuring they will fit sooner or later. I also got 2 pretty 4/6 tops that also fit. Makes me wanna cry to think of the years wasted with all that extra weight. . I would be nowhere without the love and faithfullness of Jesus my wonderful and truest friend. Also the support I get on OH. Totally amazing this journey has been for me.

Only once in my life was I really thin and happy that was before I had kids I was at 130 and so happy. My highest weight was 245 in Sept this year when I decided to start this process for my health and my kids . I am tired of feeling sick and tired so I that will change with the help of my Lord and Dr Loggins and Me. |
