I initially started all my processing through BTC but have been shuffled around since December of 2002. Then I was told that they no longer accepted BCBS of MI. So I started researching again and found Dr Wood. Wow!! What a discovery! He is a very warm and understanding man. He is VERY knowledgeable. My husband and I felt very relaxed and comfortable with him. He explains everything in layman terms so that you can fully understand everything he is talking about. Has a wonderful sense of humor. The girls in the office are VERY warm and make you feel like family. I really enjoyed them and was happy that because they had to stay very late at the office that day, they did not seem put out or upset. They turly enjoy their jobs and the people they come in contact with. Amy~Thanks for keeping us entertained while Dr Wood was taking care of a patient at the hospital! To all the other patients there that night~Good Luck and God Bless!

I am now 2.5 months post-op. I am doing really well on the weight loss part of this. I am curently down 63 pounds. But I am still having a problem with most of my food. There is still not much that I am keeping down. I do not know if it is because I am eating to fast or if I am just having a hard time adjusting to food. My oldest daughter has been married almost two weeks now. It was such a relief to have that over with but it was also alot of fun to see people who I have not seen in awhile. They could not believe the weight that I have lost. I see Dr Wood in October so I am going to go over the food bit with him.
