My Story

 I have been dealing with severe weight issues for the past 13 years.  I've been mostly 70-100 lbs overweight with the exception of about a year after I lost most of it.  But then I got pregnant and maternity leave did me in.  I put all the weight back on and then some.  
Today I am about 160 lbs overweight.  I cringe when I write that!  I decided a few months ago to finally have WLS.  I looked at all the options and picked the VSG.  I am currently awaiting approval and a surgery date (hopefully).  I have completed all required pre-op appointments.  This waiting sucks!
