Surgeon Testimonial Edward Felix, M.D. (COE) First we were not given enough information regarding surgery and their expectations. They tell you it will be laparascopic but neglect to tell you that there are things to be done, and tests that can be done to assure it will be that way. So they cut me open, grant you it's not even a straight line it's hacked! They took out my staples a week too early...(and even admitted that they did) and when my incision OPENED in 3 spots they did absolutely nothing about it. Their suggestion was to open me up all the way and let it all heal! That was after I drove 3 hours to the E.R. of their choice which was Clovis Medical where I had to wait...and that was another 300 out of my pocket. The office charges you for every little thing and they take 950.00 upfront from you and their rationalization is that well you won't be eating that much anymore so since you won't be paying for it on groceries it won't hurt you to let that money go. They tell you that this will cover your follow up visits as well...but then they take that back. Saying it's only for the crap protein things they provide...You have to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours to be seen. The day you're seen after your surgery..there are 20 other patients that they did the same day also waiting to see the doctor. Tummy Tuck offerings? Really? After the hack job you did on me during surgery...Screw that! This is the WORST! They even do surgery on people who are not over 100 lbs overweight. They will do it for anyone with the cash! This place is a joke. They nail you for every dime possible. I would not EVER recommend this office to anyone.
