Surgeon TestimonialLeland Cook, M.D.I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon then Dr. Cook. He was very helpful with any questions or concerns that I had. He was a good doctor that actually had good bed side manner. When he came to check on me in the hospital you could tell that he really cared and he always did something to make me smile. Also, the rest of the staff was great. I know that it would have been a much harder process if the staff and the hospital was bad. I am so blessed that the Lord allowed me to have such a good experience with everyone!

Happy Birthday Daddy.... on June 10, 2008 6:33 pm
Hey Everyone, Well, today is my dad’s birthday and most of you know that we lost him on September 19, 2007. Today has been pretty hard, so if you can keep me and my family in your prayers, I would appreciate it. Here are just some pictures of my dad.. I might have posted them before, but that’s ok…. I heard this song, its by the Crabb Family I Sure Miss You If life could only bring again, the days I took for granted when To hear your voice was just a call away Oh what I'd give for just some time, to say the things that slipped my mind There's so much now I'd really like to say But I can never go back when we did the things we did back then I'll store those precious memories in my mind I'll take what you've instilled in me; I'll try to be all I can be And walk the path that you have left behind I sure miss you; life will never be the same with you not here Each passing day has brought much pain But with God's grace my strength remains I sure miss you, but heaven's sweeter with you there The little things that seemed so small are now gold in a memory vault I cherish everyone I have of you Now I can see and recognize the part you played to shape my life I often see you in the things I do In God's design and master plan He saw the hurting hearts of man As we would say goodbye to those so dear So with our family and friends we'll be together once again We'll view all heaven's splendor hand in hand I sure miss you; life will never be the same with you not here Each passing day has brought much pain But with God's grace my strength remains I sure miss you, but heaven's sweeter with you there

Updating on May 30, 2008 7:51 pm
Hey Everyone, Sorry I have no updated in a while. I was at Lisa's house and I was fussing at her about not updating, when I haven’t updated either. So here is my update. So, this week as been somewhat interesting. Monday, I woke up and I was in pain all over my stomach. So, Tuesday, I went to see my PCP and he couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. So Wednesday, I called and got an appointment with the nurse ((Dr. Cook was out of town)) and they wanted me to get a CT Scan because they thought I might have a hernia. So, I went and got that done early Thursday morning. I went back and they told me that they didn’t see anything, so they thought I might have pulled or strained something in my stomach. It’s a relief, but I am still having a lot of tightness, and pain. It feels like my stomach is cramping up. So, I am hoping and praying it gets better, otherwise I will have to go back. I am really excited that I have lost 98lbs!!!! Woo!! Well, that’s about all! I hope ya'll have a wonderful and blessed day! Love and Prayers, Jennifer

After Surgery on May 9, 2008 8:06 pm
Hey Everyone, Just wanted to let ya'll know my surgery went well. No problems at all. I am still pretty sore, which is expected. I am not hurting in my stomach, but in my back, neck and shoulders from how I slept in the hospital bed, how they had me laying during surgery and all that gas they pumped in me stuck in me. Oh, I hope that gets better. Besides all that I am doing great. Just tired all the time now from the meds. I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed day!! Love and Prayers, Jennifer
