Well it's been a while since my surgery.  Everything is going fine.  So far I've lost a lot of weight, but I can't tell exactly how much considering a randomly decided to hop in the car with my boyfriend and visit his family in PA.  Let me tell you, from Georgia to Pennsylvania is a long and horrific drive, especially when you cant stop at the local Burger King to get lunch.

Since I've arrived in PA, the only thing I've had issued with, as far as eating goes, is Wawa.  There are no Wawas in Georgia, but I'm a strong supported that there should be.  Wawa is the greatest most convienent place on earth.... and I can't eat there.  How sad.

Anyway, we're here to get my boyfriend's car checked for his new tag, and so get him a sleep study done.  He's obviously got sleep apnea, but now (after way too many years of me listening to his HORRIFIC snoring and complaining about it) he's finally doing something about it.  We should be leaving to go back to GA in a few days.  I can't wait to see my puppies!

I have to move back into my apartment at school on Aug. 10.  I am very excited about not having to do any of the lifting... hah, that's what boys are for.

I'm home!

Actually, I've been home.  Surgery went off without a hitch...  Because I'm lazy, I'm not really going to post anything about it. Hah!

Hello, world.

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I last posted.  Well, don't expect this entry to be anything fantabulous amazing because I'm just not up for it!  Its currently about 20 after midnight the day of my upcoming surgery.  My flight leaves in 9 hours, and I need to be awake again 6.  This will be less fun that originally intended ;)  .  Not that that matters... what matters to me now is consoling my mother who is scared about the whole thing, and getting my junk (and every one else's) in order.

See you on the other side.

So this is my first post.  I've been lazy, otherwise I might have posted earler.  On top of that, I have a livejournal to (ask if you want a link) so that is where most of posts end up.

I have decided on having a VSG sometime in July.  I would have a date, but I'm waiting on my family to get their schedules together so that they can come with me.  Right now, it's looking like the mid to end of July, so that I have plenty of time to get myself together before school starts back up again on Aug. 15.  The good thing is, I'm moving to a new apartment complex for next year, and I wont have to do any lifting!  Imagine toating a 500 pound marimba up a flight of stairs......  haha, that's what daddies are for!

I am self pay, but really this is only possible thanks to the love of my boyfriend Mike.  We've been together for 7 years now, and he has always supported me, fat or thin.  $10,000 is a lot to just hand out, especially when you're in college like we are now.  This is an investment in my health, and I'm sure right now he knows that we either take care of it now, or the increasingly large health bills will fall on him in the future.  My family makes an incredibly small amount of money, and I'm lucky to find someone who both loves me and has no financial issues... whatsoever.  Good things come to those who wait.

Anyway, I will post when I finalize my date, but it's a sure thing now.
I can't wait.
