Surgeon Testimonial

Charles Cook, M.D.
He was very profesional looks very young but is a very skilled surgeon. He does about 100 surgeries a year all with great sucess.I asked him if he has ever done anyone my size which is 745 lbs. and not to long ago he preformed the surgery on a 750 lbs. man all went well. He went over the procedure with me step by step was very clear on the risks and covered everything I needed to know.I met his assistant,he was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable right away. Also I met his nurse she was very nice answered a few questions for me. I am looking forward to this surgery and Dr. Cook I feel comfortable with and I trust him to do the very best he can.

Down 350 pounds...
on March 26, 2003 12:00 am
Wow its been a long time since I have updated my profile but I finally have and put up new pictures. I am now 17 months post op and have lost 350 pounds and 36 inches off my waist...its amazing 3 feet it still blows me away when i see myself. I no longer take up an entire love seat actually I take up less than half now and I finally tried to sit in my featherers recliner chair which I have never in my life sat in. It's strange... when you are as big as I was I trained myself to know what I could do and not do like fitting in certain chairs and even having lost 350 pounds I still think I'm as big as I used to be, I guess its a mind adjustment and I'm still working on that. Anyways I love my life now,I'm never out of breath anymore, I walk without a cane. Life is looking better and better as days go by and I'm still a large guy, I can just imagine what I will feel like when I reach my goal. I need to lose 50 more pounds then I will have 400 pounds off and I can then start my plastic surgeries and my hernia repair. I will keep everyone up to date. I usually post alot on my website.
