Hello to all you WLS club members,

My name is Kathi, my surgery date was July 11, 2007.  I weighed 367 pounds at the time of my surgery and now I am at 293 pounds after my last Dr.'s visit which was yesterdy, (I refuse to buy a scale because I would drive myself crazy!)

I am 53 years old and the mother of 2 sons ages 29 and 23.  Before the surgery I felt like I was slowly dying , I had high blood pressure, my back hurt, I couldn't do stairs and  I was on my way to becoming diabetic.  I was so depressed it was ridiculous.  Now, I have so much energy I can't believe it!  We just came back from vacation in Fla. (we had a wonderful time). I walked and swam and danced so much I had to pinch myself to see if it was all real. 

My energy level has sky rocketed!

Thank God I made the decision to have the surgery and to those who are thinking about it, and you're pretty healthy, I say, go ahead, do the research and give it some real deep thought then jump in feet first!!
