Surgeon Testimonial

Kevin Krause, M.D.
What was your first impression of him/her? rnDr. Krause is very clean cut and professional. He is very knowledgeable about what he does and had an answer for every question that I had. rnrnHow did your impression change over time? rnI still feel that Dr. Krause was my best choice for this procedure. rnrnHow would you describe his/her office staff?rnHis office staff was amazing and very helpful in getting me approved for surgery! Sue was fantastic!!!rnrnWhat did you like least about him/her? rnEverything about Dr. Krause was great!rnrnWhat should future patients know about him/her? rnHe's very skilled and concerned about his patients. He's also very busy! This seems to make his time availability and time to spend with patients a little short.rnrnHow much does he/she emphasize aftercare? rnMy 10 day follow up was very brief. I waited 2 hours for my appointment, and saw him for two minuets, and was instructed to come back in three months. rnrnDoes he/she have a structured aftercare program? rnMost of my aftercare is with the Beaumont Weight Control Center. rnrnHow did he/she address the risks of surgery? rnHe has a matter-of-fact tone to all information that he presents. rnrnHow would you rate him/her overall? rnExcellent!!!rnrnWhich is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or are both great?rnBoth were very strong qualities!rn

Offically Down another pant size!
on November 6, 2009 6:29 am

Just wanted to share with everyone that I am offically fitting my bottom into a size 18 :) I haven't been in a size 18 since I was 15 or 16 years old... so, 10 years. Life is good

Steven and I are attending the gym now. We're working on 3 days a week. I'm only working 20 mins at a time, and that will eventually go up. I was doing 3.5 miles on the bike in 20 mins, and yesterday I did 1.5 miles non-stop on the eliptical.

With 60 pounds gone, I'm not getting winded... hardly sweating, and most of all I'm not dead tired. I feel better and less stressed after just the 20 mins I go.

Like I said, life is good.
