Andrew Aldridge M.D., F.A.C.S. I like Dr. Aldridge. He's very personable, knowledgable and sincere. He explains things well and he truely seems to care about people.
He did a wonderful job on my VSG, so far I am very happy with the results and the aftercare is top-notch.
I don't have anything negative to say about him or his staff.

Monday is your day!
Just remember you
are on the journey
of a lifetime. Try
to enjoy every
minute. It may sound
weird now, but know
that you are cared
for and prayed for
here, and all too
soon this will be
but a memory and you
will be an
inspiration to
someone else. I am
waiting for you on
the losers' bench!
Eating More I had read that at about 6 months after surgery VSGers are suddenly able to eat more. This has finally happened to me too...
In the past week or so I am suddenly able to eat what seems like quite a bit more. My intake has increased by a couple hundred calories per day. So far nuts are my downfall, lots of fat and calories, and Turkey Jerky, lots of protein but too much salt.
I don't know what my weight is but I feel good. Even without weighing I know that I need to increase my exercise and decrease calories a little.
I just gotta keep on working on it....

Hi Lynn - Well, Monday is the big day. I'm driving over to Flag tomorrow; my friend who was going with me is ill, so I'm on my own. I'm sure the logistics will work out and someone can drive my car to the hotel. I'm glad you're doing so well. How are you feeling physically? Linda
