I met with Dr. Smith on 2/7/07. He was very nice and laid back. He went through everything with me and he felt I would be a great candidate for surgery. He let me feel the port under his skin to see what it is like. He was extremely professional. He is very big on aftercare and overall change of life habits. rnrnI can't say enough about Dr. Smith. Since he is a Lap-band patient himself, he truly understands what we are going through. Offically Pregnant

Well, the blood test came back that I am pregnant. My Reproductive Endocrinologist called back on Friday afternoon and said " you are pregnant". My HCG number was 152.  I have another blood test today to make sure numbers are doubling. Then, I have a third blood test end of the week. Then, my RE will do an ultrasound to see if one baby or two. I think the ultrasound will be next week or the week after.

Hubby and I are thrilled, scared, nervous, and in shock. We have prayed for a baby for so long, we are just scared it won't be true. Like this is a big old joke.

Now, hubby and I pray for a healthy and safe nine months! We want our little miracle to enter the world.
