Surgeon Testimonial

Adam Smith, D.O., F.A.C.O.S
I met with Dr. Smith on 2/7/07. He was very nice and laid back. He went through everything with me and he felt I would be a great candidate for surgery. He let me feel the port under his skin to see what it is like. He was extremely professional. He is very big on aftercare and overall change of life habits. rnrnI can't say enough about Dr. Smith. Since he is a Lap-band patient himself, he truly understands what we are going through. Susee, his nurse, is a lap-band patient as well as is always there to assist the patients.rnrnDr. Smith is well respected in the medical community and I felt 100% confident with him providing my surgery. He is very educated on the lap-band surgery and has great bedside manner.rnrnI had some issue with getting fills in the beginning. Availability was hard! They have worked on the fill issues. They have another doctor now and it is easy to get in for a fill within a few days.rnrnI highly recommend Dr. Smith and I would do it again in a heart beat. They have commended me along the way and held me accountable. I could have never done it without Dr. Smith and Susee cheering me on!rn

I'M PREGNANT
on January 29, 2010 8:11 am

Yes, that is right. I am currently pregnant. I really haven't posted much on my blog. After a miscarriage last June, I had an ectopic in September. I ended up having Methotrexate (a chemo) to terminate the pregnancy. I got sick as a dog!

While waiting for my next next cycle to start after my ectopic, I found out I was pregnant. I am currently 9 weeks and 5 days and due August 29th. I have had two ultrasounds and everything was perfect. The heart beat was 150 bpm.

I am still not out of the woods yet. We won't really tell anyone until the 2nd trimester. So, all I have right now is this board to tell :)

I just wanted to share my news!
