My Story

 How do you tell a story that's in progress....  But let me try and make it short.  

I started my journey with many ups and down in my weight.  I've tried every diet and failed.  Finally i gave up.  At my highest weight of 350 - my younger brother had a massive heart attack and then i realized, I'm next!

In January of 2011, i took the bold brave step and decided to have wls.  I didnt talk to anyone (parents, husband, friends).... I did my research and found a great doctor.  I decided....  Then i told everyone.  That was a huge step for me.  Living my life as a people pleaser taking this step was huge for me..... By far it was the best decision.

Starting weight = 350
Surgery date = 339

The road was not easy, my sleeve experience wasn't a walk in the park but its a journey i've come to appreciate.  I appreciate my doctors.  I appreciate the love and support of my family.  Most of all, i'm proud of me!  I did what i thought i would never do... make a decision for me!  But i did it and now the weight is finally coming off for good!
