  • Parenting - I am working on loosing the weight so I can make my husband a father!

  • Movies - I love movies- Romance, Horror, Comedy- not into martial arts or action much
  • Interior Decoration - I love to decorate!
  • Sewing - I have a bew sewing machine and have made sweatpants:) and am working on a purse
  • Camping - love to fish, camp, canoe,...all of the above- can't wait for this summer!
  • Video Game Systems - I love to play Nintendo- old school & 64 with my hubby, on occasion
  • Nursing - I love to take care of other people- but recently decided to take care of me!
  • Dancing - Love, love, love to go dancing with my hubby and best girlfriends:)

Having delt with my weight my entire life I have come to find beauty in myself- however now that I am in a stage in my life that involves having children, I need to get on the road to getting health. It grows harder to look in the mirror and appreciate myself. I have a wonderful husband and he loves my unconditionaly, however for me I know I would love a thinner me. I have decided that after trying to diet for so long- I need help. I have been told from a young age (12) "your just fat" by pediatricians and OBGYNs. From a cold to abdominal pain. I do not menstrate unless I take a pill and when I do on my own- it is due to a minimal weight loss. So I know that if I were to have surgery that my health would improve along with my fertility. I love my husband and aspire to make him a father. I have wanted nothing more that to mother a child since I was very young. I have been in love with Matthew for over 5 1/2 years and been married for 2. We are ready. I am here for support and to make my dreams of being thin a reality. New Puppies

Well life and its little suprises... Gotta love it. Since my last blog, I have discovered that my lab was pregnant and at 7:38 am this morning we started to have puppies. Cotton gave birth to 10 beautiful yello full-blooded labs. All is well! We pray for miracles, and when he allows us to take part in the miracle of life it is wonderful and you really see his power. Praise God! Well I am off to sleep. Midwifeing for 10 puppies for 14 hours gets crazy. I am so tired. Have a good night all and keep us in your prayers.

Step in the right direction!

I have made a few phone calls and have made an appointment at a siminar in Springfield on Febuary 19th to learn more about the process. I am excited to be taking that first big step. (Baby ones) I will continue to pray for the courage and the strength to start loosing. 

I have started a food diary and am working out (ie. leg lifts/ crunches) every day without hesitation. I know that I can do this- with or without surgery!
