So HAPPY!!!

So I got one the scale last night and I started to cry!!  I was down 27 lbs since my surgery on May 20!!!!  I feel wonderful, and so happy how things are going!  I even tried on a pair of 16 jeans still a little tight couldn't really breath, but it felt wonderful to at least pull them on!!!!

It's Done

So on Wed May 20, 2009 my life changed...I got my VGS done, the moment I go out of recovery I was very concerned because my nausea was so bad they had a hard time getting it controlled... I had the worst night of my life with the nausea and the pain, They next morning came around and I was doing a lot better but the gas bubbles were horrible they still are I can't take a sip of anything with out gas bubbles.   I'm now home and doing good I'm still a little sore and still have gas bubbles like crazy!!  I still really don't feel different ( I don't Know maybe that is normal).

A Start To A New Beginning!!

So I just wanted to share what I did today because I'm kind of proud of myself!!  Keeping in mind that for the past several years I have not exercised or ate right.  I totally watched what I ate and drank 84 oz of water.  At lunch if the freezing 48 degree weather walked by myself a half mile!!  I was so excited after work I went and got the Dancing With The Stars workout video....and came home and work out for 20 mins.  (That was enough for tonight, I was sweating by butt off). WOW!!! I feel good!

My Story

My name is Tiffine, I live in Edmond, Ok.  I have to little girls, Ivie 6 and Shelbie 2, I'm married to the best and most supportive husband named Michael.   At this point in my live I'm 29 yro and weight 278 lbs... I was alway "big boned" but not heavy. And I'm just wanting for the insurance to approve for the VSG.   I want to be able to watch my girl grow up, and be able to do all the fun things that they like to do! I have my first appt with Dr. Brousarrd on Tuesday and can't hardly wait!!!
