    Tim- firmly believing that you WILL be well and this WILL pass and you WILL succeed. I know it may feel awful right now, but I just know that you are strong and you are meant to be here and you will be fine, in fact better than ever- I will say a prayer or three that you are no longer in pain but recovering well.

Our Furnace broke last night. Not good. Our Kerosene heater was lost in the church fire in May. Not Good. It was below zero last night. Not Good. The Furnace repair dude came out as we were leaving for dinner with some friends. He called us later and told us that we should have been dead. The Chimney pipe had been rusted so badly that Carbon Monoxide had no where to go but in our house.

He said that there is NO human explination why my wife and I are not dead from the deadly fumes. I began to share with him about God's providence and protection and about salvation. He listened for a good 5-10 minutes...asked questions...and told me he wanted me to visit him at home sometime when he has time to hear more about "my God".

meanwhile, we still don't have heat. Not good. We are gonna get a new furnace. Good. The furnace supplier said contractors don't work on furnaces in "trailers"...not good.

I am still cold. Not good. we have electric heaters going..but it is not helping much...Not good. We are gonna get a kerosene heater tonight. Good.


Praise the Lord!! 2008 is ALMOST OVER

broken down cars? Yep.

Almost died in surgery? Yep

Church members leaving over silly reasons? Yep

Church fire? Yep

4 funerals within days of each other? Yep

Building program? yep

Sanity Gone? Yep.

HAD The WLS and survived? Yep.

Lost over 150 lbs so far? Yep

New energy? Yep

Mobility? Yep

Feeling better about myself? Yep

Smaller clothes? Yep



God remains God...and except for some minor moments of insanity..I have been faithful. Thank you Lord for your watch care and providence.
