Well Im a 28 year old female that lives in good ol Pittsburgh, PA. Im married to a great guy named Matthew who I actually meet on Match.com when I lived in Tampa, Fl the past 7 years. We meet in 2004, dated and then got married in 2006, and I was able to drag him to my home town in 2010. Before I met Matt I had my totally cute 7 year old son Mason in Feb of 2004. He is so far one of the best things that have ever happened to me. So we all live in Avalon a small lil boro in Pittsburgh with my lil baby Panda (Not really a baby, lol she is a 3 year old jack Russell)… I am currently not working I am getting ready to go back to school full time in the fall of 2012 to become a Youth Pastor. I would love to start this spring but I have finally after years of weigh-ins and doctors appts been given a date for WLS (YEAH MEEEE)…. LOL…. I have waited sooo long for this day and now on Jan 26th, 2012 I will be blessed to start my life all over again and this time around Im gonna live a much for healthier lifestyle…. I can’t wait to do things that my weight has held me back from doing… I just thank god for this opportunity to change my life for the better…

Tummy & Ribs

So things have been pretty good i have lost a nice amount of weight... I wish it was more though... But i just need to stay calm it will come in due time!!! :) Sooo heres the down side i have had lots of tummy aches and pain i my ribs now i dont think its from eating to much cuz i know what that feels like its more like anytime time of day and my ribs will just start killing me if happens alot when i have my bra on so i have not been wearing it that much lately because of it. But even with out the bra my ribs still kill me... Whats going on with me???

WHY DO ALL SURGEONS ACT LIKE THEY ARE...

So I been hving alot of pain in my lower stomach like alot and my parents wanted me to call my doctor to make sure i shouldnt go to the doctors because w/ my dads surgery he had some type of hernia aubstruction down near his belly button so I called his answering service and they said that I should talk with my surgeon and that they will have him call me... So he does and he all i get to get out is Im sorry for it being late(mind u its like 10:30pm) and he says ok ok sheena whats wrong so I start to explain that all weekend I have had extream pain in my lower belly area near my belly button and he says call the office in the morning and make an appt aand i repeat what he says just to make sure thats what he said and he says yes and he says dont call this number its for emergencies and hangs up!!!! NOW heres my thing how do u know that Im not die or having a big emergency... I mean he didnt ask me not a one question or anything... I just think its pretty mean of a suregron to act this way and I have NEVER had my pcp act this way when i have had to call the after hours line... I mean other than that my surgeon was great and i loved him he did a great job and up until tonight he has been great with bedside manor and then this happenes so I dont want to down him and tell people they shouldnt go to see him... I just felt like venting a lil!!! Thats all...

1 Week and 3 days post op

Ok well this first week was not sooo bad i guess. I am just really worried I guess cuz im able to eat more than I thought i could and Im kinda cheating :(.... I am eating crackers and I shouldnt be!!!! Like tonight for dinner I eat wheat Crackers with a lil tuna on them!!! I was able to eat 5 crackers!!! Im full I can feal Im full and I feel if i eat more I will get sick so I stopped which is a good thing but I dont think I should be eating crackers!!! I should still be on most liquids and some soft food (puraed (Spelling???) foods).... So I kinda cant wait to go see my doctor on the 8th.... I have been in alot of pain sooo I really think Im gonna call and try and see him tomorrow because im outta pain meds.. So This week Im really wanna try annd get back to eating what my doctor wants me to eat!!!! Its way to early in the game to be cheating!!!!!

BUTTTT ON A GOOD NOTE I LOSS around 23lbs since surgery!!!

4 days post-op

Hello OH Friends Sheena B. here and I just had my first post op night at home last night..... I slept ok I was up kinda late but once i laid down I feel alseep. Im dealing with the pain but Im pretty gasy so I been taking gas-ex. But I still can feel all that air in me moving around and settleing. I can't wait to try new healthier meals Im only 4 days post op sooo like 2 days of clear liquids to go which is pretty borning because im not a big fan of broths so I have been living on water suger free pops and jello and crystal light and gator aid.... lol. OMG SURGERY IS IN THE MORNING

Hello again my OH Friends I know its been a while but I have been sooooo busy and now my day has come!!! Thats right you heared me right I will be going in for my surgery at 9am this morning... Sooo its about 12:57am and I am soo nervous I cant sleep... I am truly ready for this and I know Im in Gods Hands but for some reason I still can't get my self to calm down!!! Well Thats about it I just wanted to update you all and let you know whats going on!! Love Yinz all..
